Play Helicopter X for Free: SmartSoft Demo & RTP 2026
Helicopter X gives the crash genre a heist twist. A helicopter hovers over a helipad trying to fly off with a giant diamond, and you bet on two multipliers at once: the chopper and the jewel. The standout Diamond feature can send your multiplier into a frenzy when it triggers. SmartSoft, the JetX studio, built it, and you can try it free first.
This page covers the chopper and diamond mechanics, the real RTP, the win cap, and where to play. One honest note: at 96% RTP, Helicopter X carries a 4% house edge, steeper than Aviator’s 3%. No system changes that. Strategy shapes your variance, not the math.

What Is Helicopter X?
Helicopter X is a crash game from SmartSoft Gaming, the studio behind JetX, released in October 2023. A helicopter hovers over a helipad and tries to escape with a massive diamond. You wager on a multiplier tied to the chopper, and the Diamond feature can add a second multiplier on top. Cash out before the helicopter flies away and ends the round.
The Diamond feature is the personality. On random rounds the helicopter snaps the diamond off its chains, which adds its value to your multiplier and can spike the payout. That extra layer separates Helicopter X from a plain rising-line game like Aviator, while the core loop stays familiar.
How to Play Helicopter X
The loop adds one twist to the standard format. Here are the steps.
Set One or Two Bets
Stake between €0.05 and €200. Helicopter X offers dual betting interfaces, so you can run two independent wagers per round.
Set Auto Collect
Choose a target multiplier and the game collects your win automatically. The autoplay options let you set round counts and stop conditions on both bet panels.
Watch for the Diamond
The chopper rises from 1.0x. On random rounds the Diamond feature triggers, adding up to 100x to the main multiplier and pushing your potential win sharply higher.
Collect Your Winnings
Cash out before the helicopter departs. Your win is the stake times the combined multiplier, up to the $10,000 cap. Wait too long and you lose the round.

Please Note
The 100,000x headline is heavily limited by the $10,000 win cap. Unless your stake is tiny, you hit the cash ceiling long before the full multiplier pays. Treat the big number as a theoretical figure and plan around the $10,000 cap instead.
Can You Play Helicopter X for Free?
Yes. Casinos carrying SmartSoft Gaming titles offer a free demo of Helicopter X on play money. The demo uses the same 96% math, the same Diamond feature, and the same provably fair system as the real version. It is a good way to see how often the Diamond triggers before you stake real funds.

SpinbaraDoes Strategy Work in Helicopter X?
No system lowers the 4% house edge set by the 96% RTP. Strategy changes variance only. The Diamond feature is random, so you cannot time it, and chasing it pulls you toward the high-variance end. A steady auto-collect protects your bankroll while you wait for the feature to land naturally. The provably fair tool confirms rounds are clean but does not change the edge. Our strategy guide and bankroll management guide apply directly.
Pros
- Innovative Diamond feature
- Provably fair round verification
- Dual betting interfaces and strong automation
- Great graphics and sound
Cons
- 96% RTP trails the 97% leaders
- $10,000 cap makes the 100,000x mostly theoretical
- Medium to high volatility can mean dry spells
Final Word on Playing Helicopter X
Helicopter X is one of the more creative crash games around, and the Diamond feature genuinely adds excitement. The trade is a 96% RTP and a $10,000 cap that deflates the giant multiplier. Try the free demo to see the feature in action, keep your collect points disciplined, and treat the 100,000x as a dream. For where to play, our best Aviator casinos hub lists strong options.
Helicopter X Crash Game FAQs
Yes. Casinos carrying SmartSoft Gaming games offer a free Helicopter X demo on play money. It uses the same 96% RTP, Diamond feature, and provably fair system as the real version.
Helicopter X runs a 96% RTP, a 4% house edge, which is slightly higher than Aviator’s 3%. That edge is fixed regardless of strategy or the Diamond feature.
On random rounds, the helicopter snaps a diamond off its chains, adding a second multiplier of up to 100x to the main one. It triggers at random, so you cannot time it, and it is already accounted for in the 96% RTP.
The main multiplier can reach 100,000x with the Diamond feature, but wins are capped at $10,000 per round. Unless your stake is very small, the cap limits your actual payout well below the headline multiplier.
