SmartSoft Gaming: The Studio Behind JetX and the X-Series 2026
SmartSoft Gaming is the studio that gave crash gaming its other household name: JetX. While Spribe built Aviator, SmartSoft built a whole series of crash titles around a recognizable “X” branding, from rockets to cricket balls to helicopters. For many players, a SmartSoft game was their first crash experience that was not Aviator.
This hub covers who SmartSoft is, the X-series lineup, an honest look at how their fairness verification works, and where to play. We link out to the full guide for each game so you can dig deeper on any title that catches your eye.

Who Is SmartSoft Gaming?
SmartSoft Gaming is a studio launched in 2015, known for crash-style products and games that break from the traditional reel-slot mold. The company calls JetX its first breakthrough in the non-traditional category, and that title helped define crash gaming alongside Aviator. SmartSoft holds a Malta Gaming Authority B2B license, which is part of why its games appear at many regulated and crypto casinos.
Where Spribe kept a tight catalog, SmartSoft went wide, building a recognizable family of “X” titles across different sports and themes. The shared interface means once you know one, you know them all. Our JetX page covers the flagship in detail.
The SmartSoft X-Series Lineup
SmartSoft’s crash catalog is built around a consistent design with theme swaps on top. The main titles include:
- JetX, the 2018 original with a retro jet theme, 97% RTP, and a 25,000x ceiling. See our JetX page.
- Cricket X, a cricket-themed crash game with a standout 98.8% RTP. See our Cricket X page.
- Football X, a football spin on the format. See our Football X page.
- Helicopter X, featuring a diamond-heist bonus and a 100,000x main multiplier. See our Helicopter X page.
- Balloon, the press-and-hold inflate game from 2019. See our Balloon page.
SmartSoft also makes JetX3, a three-bet version of the original for players who want more split-strategy flexibility per round.
How SmartSoft’s Fairness Works
This is where honesty matters. SmartSoft markets its crash games as provably fair, and some sources describe seed-based verification. Other independent analysts argue that titles like JetX use a lab-certified random number generator audited by iTechLabs under Malta Gaming Authority licensing, rather than the cryptographic, player-verifiable model that Spribe’s Aviator uses.
Both approaches are legitimate ways to run a fair game. The practical difference is whether you can check each round yourself or trust a third-party auditor to have done it. If per-round verification matters to you, confirm the method in the game’s own fairness panel, and note that Spribe titles offer the clearer cryptographic version. Our provably fair guide explains the distinction.

SpinbaraFinal Word on SmartSoft Gaming
SmartSoft built the crash genre’s most recognizable game family outside of Aviator, with JetX as its anchor and a wide range of themed spinoffs. The titles are polished and varied, with RTPs that swing from 96% to a generous 98.8% on Cricket X. The one thing to check is the fairness model, since it differs from Spribe’s cryptographic version.
